The ‘Old Oak’ Table (Customised Moos Hir Table)

We built this bespoke interpretation of our Moos Hir table for clients in Falmouth. This was one aspect of their broader kitchen project that included the Old Oak Bench. In conversation with the clients, and referencing their preferred colour palette, we designed a pattern that actually incorporated oak reclaimed from their previous kitchen. The old found its way into the new, reinforcing the importance of material value.
Materials: Birch Plywood, Iroko, Oak from the clients old kitchen, Pine, Beech, recycled acrylics
