When Modern Marquetry meets Traditional Parquetry

Marquet Flooring™ unites the artistry of Modern Marquetry with the timeless appeal of Herringbone parquetry patterns - hand crafted in Cornwall. All our Modern Marquetry work is meticulously handmade from reclaimed wood, recycled plastics and locally sourced waste-stream materials. It sits deep beneath the surface, preserving its character even after refinishing. If required, a full installation service is available using our trusted fitters, ensuring your floor is installed to the highest standard, with clear maintenance guidance included.

  • Our Engineered Prime Oak Herringbone Flooring is available in thicknesses of 15mm or 20mm, and in the following block sizes:

    • 350 × 70mm

    • 500 × 100mm

    If you require bespoke sizes, thicknesses, Chevron or other patterns, or solid timber flooring, please get in touch and we can make it happen.

  • All our flooring is made-to-order and has a 3 - 6 week lead time. Please allow for at least 1 week of acclimatisation before installation, this ensures the flooring has acclimatised to the room it is to be fitted in.

  • Prices start from £300.00 per square metre & includes free delivery within the UK.

  • Supplied unfinished, ready for your choice of oil - tinted or natural. If you choose to go with our installation service, we can match the tint to your home’s style during installation.

  • Modern Marquetry appears in 40% of blocks in the Herringbone pattern, ensuring visual consistency and avoiding clustering of decorated planks.

  • Our engineered flooring is fully compatible with most underfloor heating systems, offering warmth without compromising integrity.

  • This optional extra allows us to manage everything from manufacturing to installation. Our certified fitters ensure a precise, seamless finish—plus you receive a detailed maintenance guide before and after purchase. This service is not included in the prices quoted.
