Double Layer Table

This table was built by us for the 2023 Surface Design show in London. A small but functional piece that incorporates two Modrn marquetry surfaces. The framing itself remains stable and elegant while allowing the end user to swap out the surfaces. Used to catch the eye of stall visitors, this piece generated conversations that led us to interior projects.
Materials: Birch Ply, reclaimed shuttering ply, reclaimed acrylics and mixed end grain timbers.
Finish: Osmo Top Oil
