Pew Style Bench
Furniture Project | Falmouth, Cornwall
This bespoke version of our Pewas bench, which is gets it’s inspiration from a church pew, was made as part of a larger kitchen project for our client in Falmouth. Two of it’s panels are interrupted by linear stripes of Modern Marquetry, built with tones of materials that compliment the kitchen as a whole, including Oak from their old kitchen which we ripped out. With storage in mind, the seat can be pivoted up allowing access to internal voids.
Materials: Birch ply, Iroko, recycled acrylics, beech, ash, pine and Plywoods.
Finish: Osmo Top Oil
