Stratum Marquetry is powered by the creativity and vision of Dan and Ravi. The two first met in Cornwall in 2012, sharing a love of outdoor adventure, community, and the Cornish landscape. Their paths—Dan as an expedition leader and carpenter, Ravi as an arts educator and designer-maker—converged in 2020 during a moment of reflection while camping on a Pendeen cliffside.

From that moment, a shared vision unfolded: to create a business rooted in sustainability, creativity, and quality. After years of development, Stratum Marquetry launched in late 2022, building upon core values, transparency, and a commitment to making furniture that lasts a lifetime.
