Campfire Slab Lamp

Lighting Project | Falmouth, Cornwall

Intoxicated by the flickering light of a fire, a state of entropy gave way to this lamp. Flashes of recycled acrylic intersect shapes of timber and plywoods, harvested from local joiners. The resulting surface, a dance of colour, material, texture and form, sits within the surface two oak boards, jointed with a fillet.

Materials: Oak, recycled acrylic, Walnut, Pine, Sapele, Douglas Fir, various plywoods.

Finish: PU varnish.
