Bambata Table

Furniture Project | Falmouth, Cornwall

Working with the remainder of a marquetry block, we harvested staves approximately 25mm wide, offsetting them to produce staggered ends that overhang the substrate of Birch ply. Built with a robust brace and leg system, this piece resides in a clients hallway, allowing them a place to sit when removing their shoes.

Materials: Sapele, recycled acrylic, Pine, Douglas Fir, Larch, various Plywoods
